Appearance: Clear, brilliant, transparent. Nose: The nose develops a pronounced lactic register accompanied by fruity notes reminiscent of red fruit and mango, enriched by hints of caramel, toast and vanilla. Palate: The attack reveals a harmony between the aromas perceived on the nose and the flavours on the palate, with a dominant lactic and fruity note supported by hints of sweet cream and wood. The body remains light, while the alcohol adds a spicy dimension that lingers on the palate. The finish has a slight astringency which tends to shorten the aromatic persistence slightly. Overall impression: A spirit of fine aromatic complexity with a distinctive lactic character, although the expression on the palate is more modest than the richness of the nose would suggest.
